I just spent 2 hours cleaning up my deviations and message box (~450 deviations / ~550 messages) :lol:
I have been inactive like hell over the last months..




#50mm chat







Me and some friends from dA registered the channel #50mm on quakenet. We want to establish a small chat community around photography. We've chosen IRC because chatting is still the fastest and best way to communicate (especially for reviewing each others works) with other people over the internet, and IRC is the best platform to do so. However, we would be glad if some of you would stop by :)
In case you have no idea what IRC and quakenet and all this stuff is all about but still are interested in a nice chat, just send me a note and Ill explain it to you.
Actually we wanted the chat to be in german but I guess it wont be a problem to have it bilingual.

I loved on symphathy for Mr. Vengeance that Chan-Wook did not use a real soundtrack, which worked pretty well in this theme. I don't really know why I didnt like lady vengeance that much :shrug:

Lady Vengeance was the last, yes. I think :-\ I thought Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance was a big weaker, and Lady Vengeance picked it up a little more, similar to Oldboy. Oldboy is my fiance's all-time favorite movie, actually; had to get him the special addition DVD for V-day. I'm not sure if you've heard of Three Extremes, but there's a mini movie directed by Park Chan-Wook in that one which is also amazing. The other two mini-movies are directed by Fruit Chan and Takashi Miike, if you're into them at all... this was the only work by Miike that I've liked so far, though. Anyways, check it out if you haven't ;)

park chan-wook is incredibly great, indeed. Lady vengeance is a bit weak though, guess that was the last one of the series, right?

Also... A+ on the movie choices. Oldboy is a favorite of mine, as well. Great director. The whole series is great.
